Elaine's Deli in Frankfurt

Cool atmosphere (even though the inside area wasn't really accessible due to the lockdown) which I haven't seen before ... and that in the middle of Frankfurt's bank towers. The sandwich and the latte macchiato were of course delicious ;-)

The cheesecake that was picked up was delicious

Mhmmm ... would like it more, but unfortunately in my opinion you don't get a good price-performance ratio: (Service is "always trying" but rather spoiled and inattentive. Food is tasty, but nothing special and sometimes yours Not worth the price. The Bam Bam sessions were really nice, but otherwise it's rather overhyped :(

Delicious coffee, delicious food BUT too expensive AND you really have to stop addressing every "woman" with Madame. This is really annoying, unheard of, and gendered. I know it sounds super educated, because French and such, but it doesn't sound to us women, believe me. If you were to address me with a woman or a doll, it would arouse the same feelings in me. Nobody says "what can you do with your wife, woman, guy, man or whoever". THANK YOU!

As always great food! Unfortunately, the employees cannot keep their distance even when taking away.

Very expensive and the food and the wines are rather of low quality

Breakfast was delicious and the waiters were very nice! In the pictures you can see a croissant with salmon and avocado and in the other picture you can see two variants of Elaine's Plate. Masks were worn by the waiters. Unfortunately not always and sometimes under the nose (1 star deduction). Price / performance is so. You also pay for location and hipness.

Had a breakfast platter, Müsli, omelet, and coffee this morning. Really friendly atmosphere and fast service. The food was fresh and delicious and they have WiFi. High recommend if you are in the city. Also the green space around is real nice.

This review is not based on a one time experience! It has been several visits throughout a decent period of time. The venue is nice and the events are mostly fun and trendy. A real go to place when they are hosting a big event - other than that -> Nope. Despite the prices, which are more than competitive - The waiters are entitled and arrogant. They apparently lack training in the service industry, while getting clear orders from their boss to not disrespect the customers in such matter. It gives the oerall nice venue a whole trashy and "Assi" vibe. I do believe that waiters and waitresses do not have to take everything in from customers, but the decency and entitlement of the (especially male) waiters at Elaines, is just enormous. --> You might work in a trendy bar but you are providing a SERVICE *TO* a customer. NOTE: this venue is not bad overall, but the owner or manager seriously has to do something about the staff working in there. So if you fancy a drink or a Instagrammable bowl, and do not care about how you might be treated its still a good spot ;).

Takes a bit of a long time to get your order and it's all a little messy. The banana bread is tasty and the waitresses are mostly friendly.

Unfortunately not to be recommended. The location is modern and looks nice from the outside, but unfortunately the food is not worth its price. When we were there at around 3 p.m., only 20% of the bagels & sandwiches offered were available. No bagels & sandwiches are made on request, but you have to take what is already behind the counter. But the price between 7-10 € for a bagel / sandwich is not justified. The other things offered are also overpriced. This is also reflected in the drinks. An additional € 0.80 is charged for lactose-free milk. So we only paid just under 10 € for 2 small cappuccinos. The service was very attentive at the beginning, but after we received our drinks, we were no longer served, although we had already asked about the food at the counter and even wanted to order at the counter - but it was not possible. M.E. there are much better addresses in Frankfurt for breakfast / brunch. Like the Mola in Sachsenhausen, for example.

Apart from the waiting time to get a table, the food also took a long time to arrive. We were on the waiting for 1.5 hours. By the time we got to order, many many things from the menu were gone already (a really bad calculation of inventory). The food was ok, nothing special.

Hello, very good food and atmosphere. You feel good. But I think it's really a cheek that the prices are raised again and again at regular intervals. In addition, every order takes forever, no real organization etc ... Otherwise, the location was great and the staff was also very friendly.

Cool café with lots of seating outside. Both the bowls and the sandwiches are delicious. However, I have always had the experience that the staff was in more than a hurry and didn't take any time, let alone have been nice.

Horrible service two times in a row. It takes 30 minutes to order and then another 45 min to get the food and drink. Staff completely unorganised and incompetent.

Definitely a good cafe. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour. 5 wasps drowned in the orange juice before the rest of the breakfast came. They couldn't give us a cover for the glass. We paid 36 € for 2 people.

Great place in the city center for a good breakfast and coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great, fresh and tasty. Prices are normal as well. 4 stars only because they didn't have an option of the menu in English. Overall amazing!

The place is located in a nice place near a small park. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Scrambled eggs were really dry and without any salt, the same with the omelet. Bread would be delicious if it wouldn’t be burned. Moreover all 6 slices we had, were heels of a loaf which was hard to bite. No spices or sugar on the table, prices inadequate for the food quality. We definitely won’t come back there.

First of all I have to say that I just sat outside and not inside in the café, which is why I can't say what it looks like inside. The menu is very diverse and the food and drinks taste relatively good! There is still a point deduction because the tables outside unfortunately look very worn and unhygienic (chewing gum sticks to the tables, glue residues from sweet drinks and crumbs). However, there is also the option of sitting on the lawn opposite with a blanket provided by the café, which is of course a perfect alternative in summer. The service has always been very nice and attentive so far.

Staff don't put on their masks and the prices are grossly overpriced. 6.50 for a juice that isn't even good. Cakes and wraps are very good though

Super alternative offer. Great for to go. Blankets for the meadow are also available on request. Unfortunately I ordered vegetarian and didn't get it.

I think it's okay to wait for a table, as you can't make reservations outside. The waiters also keep you up to date while you wait. The waiters are generally very nice and also take extra requests or suggest alternatives. The food is really always very tasty and well seasoned. But: staff have to wear the face mask in the current situation! Folks, that's so important in gastronomy - it's just not possible without it at the moment and I found that a bit irresponsible

Was really excited to try this place out, stood in line, took all the precautions I was asked to do, I come up to order my food and said just a minute please, the guy goes off at me that’s what you are supposed to wait in line for, use your phone! scan the QR code! and be ready, well whatever what do you want? So I said no thank you! I won’t pay for bad service and someone talking down to me!

A hipster menu with good coffee close to the Frankfurt centre. The logistics and seating plan need some help on Sundays.

Love the location next to a park. A lot of people just have there drinks sitting on the gras. Nice drinks, good vibes...

First of all, it took us 30 minutes to sit down. When we were seated, we were not served for 15 minutes. When we were served, it took about 20-25 minutes for our café to arrive. After an hour we asked where our food was going. The waitress wanted to take care of it, but she never came back. After another 10 minutes we said that we were going to leave because still nobody had taken care of it. Actually 1 star, but because the one or the other waiter was nice, 2 stars. PS: The café was lukewarm.

Over priced and just an hype.. ordered a Falafel couscous roll but unfortunately it did not have any Falafel...This cafe is located at very good place and garden in front is wonderful in summer.. that's the only plus..

Delicious and varied breakfast in a great atmosphere, especially when you can sit outside in the middle of the skyscrapers and still be in the green. Also super nice service.

Cashier cheats buyers and bills more. we realized this unfortunately when we got home. I do not recommend the place or at least be careful, in Frankfurt there are many good places where buyers are appreciated and it is not one of them...I would recommend to go to Chinaski Tagesbar instead

Friendly staff ,great location and the coffee and cakes are delicious.

Food quality is ok but they definitely need to buy new plates and throw the old ones away. Check my picture in the gallery - the plate had 5-7 breakages across perimeter

After hearing some good things about Elaine’s we finally had the opportunity to visit. The place looks great and the vibe is amazing. Unfortunately we had to change our order 3 times to find something that was in stock as most items were sold out. I ordered a platter that came with two small pieces of bread crusts. I asked two servers for additional bread and were ignored both times. My cappuccino was served without a teaspoon or sugar. And we had to borrow salt and pepper from the neighboring tables. As much as I liked the place the service will make me think twice before visiting again.
